Roomates and dorm life

Hello beautiful people of the world sorry I'm a little late I am finishing up my internship this week yay, I'm going back to school next week. So I wanted to give a bit of advice and share my roomate and dorm life story. So the best advice I can anyone about being a good roomate   is to just be respectful of your Roomate and to listen to them and to make compromises. My roomate and I ......well we had a couple of problems  mostly because I feel she did not respect me. I was 17 and it was first time away from my mother so was not very comfortable having guys in our room at night. I grew kind of sheltered and I haven't had many encounters with guys and I was never allowed to date so I was very very uncomfortable having guys at night while I'm sleeping in our room and she broke my trust. So all I can say is just be respectful of your roomate and respect their boundaries. But that is not to say I did not have some fun with my roomate because we did I had someone to talk to about the gossip going around our dorm which I find is one of the most entertaining things about dorm life. So going on about dorm life I found the best thing to be friendly with the people I lived around was to have my door open. I met so many great people that were just walking by and I developed friendships from that. Also  if you have your door open or go past a door that's open say hi or wave. It's super easy And that way you are friendly with your hall mates.

So if you have any questions about living in a door or having a roomate leave a comment and I will try to answer it to the best of my abilities

Its that time of the year again

Hello beautiful people of the world  its that time of the year and no its not holiday time .......its a brand new school year.  And for those of you going to college for the first time I can honestly say its okay to be be scared. freshman year means being an adult and being away from parents and family and that is scary. But fear not cause it gets better and after a few weeks you get into a groove and you make friends and that is where the college experience happens. The best advice I can give you is too make friends ... good friends that good for and make you feel good. Friends make your freshman year a whole lot easier and happier then being antisocial. As well not only make friends with friends but make friends with your teachers and  faculty. I honestly don't think I could have made it through last year with out my boss who I look up too as a mentor because she truly is an amazing women.

So my advice is don't be shy say hi

I hope you guys feel a bit better about going to school for the first time or even going to a new school but just remember to be safe and have fun. you don't need to drink or do drugs or go to parties to have fun or even to get a college experience. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns leave a comment

School Haul

Hello beautiful people of the world sorry I haven't updated properly  I went on holiday  last week to go visit my best friend and it was amazing we went shopping and out to eat and we went to a water park. Any who this past weekend my mom and I did some back to school shopping so I thought I would do a haul of everything I got

I guess the easiest way to do it is by store

Target

So most of this haul is from Target so lets begin
  • 2 new THRESHOLD firm/extra firm pillows
  • A navy blue  Room Essentials  bed rest
  • Room Essentials   twin XL sheet set in like a bluish grey color ( which I think is gonna be super cute with my white and light grey chevron comforter and even my blue comforter :) )
  • Room Essentials  drying rack
  • Room Essentials  body pillow cover in light grey and white and dark grey
  • Room Essentials  wash cloths in navy blue and grey
  • Pink shower shoes I think Room Essentials  but I don't remember sorry
  • 4 blue and grey storage bins  2 small ones and 2 big ones .... I think THRESHOLD but I forgot sorry
  • Room Essentials  Blue and grey towel Wrap
  • Room Essentials  Hair towel turbans in light blue and white
Office Depot
  • mechanical pencils
  • 2 new folders
  • a Bluetooth wireless speaker
  • pack college rule paper
  • glue sticks
  • Scotch mounting putty
So that's about all I got and I didn't need much from Office Depot because I am reusing a lot from last year and I have lots of note books and stuff. However I am still hunting for a cute but affordable agenda book so I think I am going to look in Target and Walmart. So if you have any suggestions on where to look or suggestions for anything else I might need to get leave a comment and let me know

The things I use Part 1

Hello beautiful people of the world  so today I thought I could talk about some products I use or will use in college. Now I am not gonna turn this into a beauty blog but I  am gonna talk about some things that I love and use in college and some of the things I have picked up this summer so far. Also I plan to talk about what I use to keep my dorm  room clean and give some suggestions of things that I think are good to take to college.

So I guess I am gonna start with Hair and Face products:

So because  I have really thick hair so I have found that the most affordable hair product to use is herbal essences. I also use the Aussie 3 min conditioning treatment. And for my face I use St. Ives Oatmeal Scrub  and the pink lemon and Mandarin Orange  Scrub because the masks are vegan and they make my face feel nice and soft. I also use Number 7 Beautiful Skin foaming cleanser and the day cream. But now a days I use the proactive 3 step skin care line.

Body Products:
So I  Usually use Yardley Sea Minerals Shower Gel because it really softens the skin. But recently I got a great deal at Bath and Body Works and I got  the White Tea and Ginger shower gel and lotion and I am lovinggggg it. Like it is such a great summer scent its fun yet sophisticated.  I also use Baby Oil to moisturize the ruff areas of my body like knees, elbows, and feet.

Entertainment:
Because I have no life I usually entertain myself by reading fanfiction or watching movies and shows. And this  summer  I  am watching Teen Wolf and Golan The Insatiable.

Hey guys I hope I give you some good ideas of new things to try  so if you do get any of this  let me know  what you think  of  kind of post and next week I'll  talk about things I took to college last year and what I will be taking.

Anxiety

Hello beautiful people of the world today we are going to talk about anxiety........... I think it is some every college kid or really anyone in school feels at least once. I have never really had anxiety before college but recently I have been having panic attacks. Which is really scary to me because I have never experienced something like that plus having the actually panic attack. I dont really know the cause for them it could be a combo of school stress and family stress.

How to deal with anxiety

  • I just pull my knees to my chest and just let it flow through
  • I call or text my best friend and talk things out with her
  •  I go for a walk just by myself either quietly or with music ( most of the time music because it is life)
  •  I read my favorite fanfiction
  • Watch  my favorite you tube channels
  • And my number one favorite most helpful thing to do is to cuddle my cat she is my baby and always knows how to make me feel good
  • Have a long bath or shower using a lavender camomile  soap

I hope I have given you guys some ideas for better ways to manage anxiety and if you have and tips for me please let me know I would love to hear from you
